E-Z Breach® Looped Hinge Bladder is very effective for removing door at the hinge.
E-Z Breach® Looped Hinge Bladder is a water impulse charge bladder for use with explosives in forced entry breaching by SWAT teams or other police and military personnel. It accepts a variety of explosives and is suitable for a wide range of targets.
E-Z Breach® Looped Hinge Bladder is designed to remove the door at the hinge. It is used primarily along the door hinge but also can be used in the center of a door to deflect the door inward. It is extremely effective when used with the appropriate chage.
E-Z Breach® Looped Hinge Bladder is a single elongated bladder, 8" x 74" in length, which is folded back on itself and radio-frequency welded down the entire length so that the bladder forms a loop which measures flat 4" x 74". The loop creates an internal opening for insertion of the appropriate charge depending on the target. The bladder is filled with water after the charge is inserted. The bladder has punch out holes at the top which provide an optional means for placement against the door, such as using cord loops and pole or a pole with a slight hooked end. Also, breacher's tape, or double-sided tape, can be applied to the target side of the bladders to secure the bladder to the door.
E-Z Breach® Looped Hinge Bladder is manufactured from 30 mil black PVC, aka vinyl, and has a single, heavy-duty nozzle for filling. Every part of the bladder is tough, yet flexible and produces minimal fragmentation.
The bladder is very small when folded or rolled and requires minimal storage space, one-third cubic foot per unit, 4"x 4"x 3", and it weighs 1½ lbs.
E-Z Breach® Looped Hinge Bladder improves results delivered by improvised water impulse contact charges and results are consistent. It dramatically reduces preparation and handling time which equates to more efficiency and lower labor cost.
E-Z Breach® Looped Hinge Bladder should only be used by those personnel formally trained and experienced in explosive entry techniques and procedures, such as SWAT teams, military and police.
